I am a bit behind with this post.  A couple of weeks ago, my oldest daughter auditioned to be a Page for Their Royal Majesties, King Henry VIII and Queen Anne.  She was one of 5 who auditioned that day and she got one of the parts.  Okay, they all got parts as Pages, but that is not the point...LOL.

She is having a lot of fun discovering what being part of the Faire means.  She has already made the other Pages her best friends.  We are working on her character survey right now.  She is doing a really good job on it.  She is really putting a lot of thought into it.  I am typing it for her, she is only 8, so her words are getting a tiny bit embellished, but most of the ideas are hers.

Alrighty then, proud mommy moment done for now....LOL.

Hi.  I am starting my first year with the Kansas City Renaissance Festival.  I am an area manager this year, so I get to be a gypsy.  I am really looking forward to it.  I am really hoping that I can get over my shyness in time...LOL.

I am also a seamstress.  I have an account on here for my business, The Crafty Archer.  I am making a minimum of 3 outfits this year.  I will also be making my outfit.  I am hoping that my business will soon be making it's grand opening.  I have a few more things to do, but with any luck it will happen soon.

I am the mother of 4 girls.  They are the lights of my life.  I am also an archer.  I have found that it can be a great stress reliever.

Well, that is just a bit about me.  I look forward to getting to know many of you.
